Procedure

CSI Girls Matric Higher Secondary School welcomes admissions for Pre-KG, LKG, UKG, and Standards I to XII. The admission process is transparent, child-friendly, and follows the guidelines set by the institution and the Tamil Nadu Education Department.

1️⃣ Admission Availability

Admissions are open for the following classes:

  • Pre-KG
  • LKG & UKG
  • Classes I to XII

Admission is based on seat availability and completion of required formalities.

2️⃣ Eligibility & Age Criteria

The child must satisfy the age requirement on or before 31st July of the admission year:

  • Pre-KG: 2+ years
  • LKG: 3+ years
  • UKG: 4+ years
  • Class I: 5+ years
  • Higher classes follow appropriate age progression

These age norms ensure students are developmentally ready for the curriculum.

3️⃣ Required Documents

Parents must submit the following documents during admission:


For Pre-KG, LKG, UKG
  • Xerox copy of the Birth Certificate
  • Aadhar Card (if applicable)
  • Passport-size photographs

For Class I and Above
  • Original Transfer Certificate (mandatory)
  • Xerox copy of Birth Certificate
  • Aadhar Card copy
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)

Incomplete applications or missing documents may delay admission confirmation.

4️⃣ Admission Process – Step by Step

Step 1: Collecting the Application Form
Parents can collect the application form from the school office during working hours.


Step 2: Form Submission
Submit the filled-in application along with required documents.
Ensure all details are accurate and signed by the parent/guardian.


Step 3: Verification of Documents
The school office will verify age eligibility, certificates, and contact details.


Step 4: Interaction / Assessment (if required)
For higher classes, an informal assessment or interview may be conducted to understand the child’s learning level.


Step 5: Admission Confirmation
Upon approval, parents will receive confirmation from the school.
Parents must pay the fees within the given time to secure the seat.

5️⃣ General Admission Notes

  • The school reserves the right to grant admission based on its policies and seat availability.
  • Admission is open to all communities, respecting the school’s Christian Minority status.
  • School rules, discipline, uniform policies, and academic guidelines must be followed from the date of admission.
