House System

The House System at CSI Girls Matric Higher Secondary School plays a vital role in promoting teamwork, discipline, healthy competition, and leadership among students. Every student is assigned to one of the four houses, each inspired by the names of the Gospels.

House Names

The four houses are:

  • 🔵 Matthew House
    Symbolizes service, dedication, and commitment.
  • 🟢 Mark House
    Represents perseverance, strength, and achievement.
  • 🟡 Luke House
    Denotes knowledge, wisdom, and harmonious growth.
  • 🔴 John House
    Stands for integrity, courage, and excellence.

Each house is led by House Leaders, Assistant Leaders, and guided by House Teachers who mentor students in academics, discipline, cultural events, and sports.


House Points System

To encourage student participation and merit, a structured points system is followed throughout the academic year:


🏅 House Points Allocation
  • 1st Place: 5 Points
  • 2nd Place: 3 Points
  • 3rd Place: 2 Points

Points are awarded for:
  • Academic excellence
  • Cultural participation
  • Sports performance
  • Discipline
  • Communication & campus language
  • Club activities & competitions

At the end of the academic year, the Best House Award is presented based on the total accumulated points.
